Antonym Flip Book
Use your own clipart and create an antonym flip book.

Plants
Parts of a Plant

The Surprise Garden
We read the book, "The Surprise Garden" by Zoe Hall. Then we sorted our seeds on the pocket chart and glued them on a sorting graph.
Tops and Bottoms
We read the book, "Tops and Bottoms" by Janet Stevens and sorted picture cards from story by tops or bottoms. Then we did a writing activity about our favorite plant to eat.
Roots
We read the book, "Roots" by Vijaya K. Bodach. Then we did a science experiment to show how roots help plants.
Jack and the Beanstalk
After reading several versions of "Jack and the Beanstalk" we sprouted and planted our own popcorn seeds.
